Our Customer Service acts as the hub of a wheel, surrounded by our customers, suppliers and Technical Sales representatives; our goal is to always keep the wheel aligned and in motion.
CUSTOMER SERVICE - BY MARKET SEGMENT
Our Customer Service representatives are trained to work closely with
Lipscomb Technical Sales Representatives within specific market segments.
Knowledge of specific markets improves the flow of information between
customers, sales representatives, and suppliers.
No issue is too small or problem too big to be handled in the most
professional and efficient manner. Our goal: find answers to any problem or
question that will benefit both our customers and suppliers.
All of our Customer Service representatives are able to handle the full
processing of any order, large or small, from initiating the order placement
to verifying that the delivery has been made. This applies to distribution
as well as agency orders, shipping from anywhere to any customer. We
maintain updated history files on all customers which help guide inventory
and shipment frequency.
SUPPLIER SERVICE - BY MARKET SEGMENT
Customer Service representatives at Lipscomb Chemical work closely with
suppliers within specific market segments. We inform suppliers of customer
issues and trends within these markets.
Customer Service manages the inventory and shipment of supplier samples.
Our Technical Sales representatives are informed of all sample requests so
they can follow up with technical assistance.
Our Supplier files are updated with the newest product support information,
including the latest material records such as MSDS and Product Data Sheets.
In the food market segment, for instance, we maintain up-to-date Kosher
Certificate files and automatically inform customers of new certificates.
NETWORKING BETWEEN CUSTOMER AND SUPPLIER
Our Customer Service representatives keep track of order frequency and stock
issues. This is particularly important for seasonal orders and materials
that temporarily become short in supply. By tracking usage, we can alert
customers and suppliers to inventory fluctuation to help prevent customer
supply issues. Materials that we sell to our customers come from many parts
of the globe, making forecasting a vital tool in assisting both suppliers
and customers.
Customer Service keeps track of product quality issues as they affect our
customers. We pay attention to the behind-the-scene issues as they occur
and work closely with our suppliers to ensure the quality and availability
of all products we promote and sell to our customers.
It is this type of detail orientation that has kept us at the top of our
business.
